Course Summary
Students receive the most updated training available in all aspects of the W.L.E.A. Custody & Control Program. In addition, students will apply their knowledge in integrated coaching sessions with basic officers.
Course Requirements
To receive certification students must complete the WLEA Custody & Control Physical Skills Test with a minimum performance standard of 90%. The certification is valid with WLEA for a 2 year period.
Special Instructions
The uniform for this course is BDU pants and an appropriate tee-shirt. Students may wear shoes on the mats that have been approved by WLEA staff and are only worn when on the mats. This is an O.E.T. scholarshipped course and is offered free of charge to officers certified in the state of Wyoming. Please note, this course does have a No Show Fee. Cancellations must be received 2 business days before the start of the course. After that time, the No Show Fee may be charged.

1. Duty leather gear with expandable/straight baton, hand cuffs, and cuff keys. 2. Duty ballistic vest (if issued) 3. BDU pants 4. Mat shoes (optional) 5. Shower shoes or additional shoes (worn when not on the mats) 6. Mouthpiece
